“ We ate here twice during our time in Cusco, once for breakfast and once for dinner. The staff were so friendly sparking up conversation with us, it had a nice vibe like being in someone’s home! I thought there were good vegetarian options and I loved that they put a big salad on the side with lots of the options, plus their teas come in a massive pot so you get loads of cups! Highly recommend. ”
“ I came for dinner, and the server was quick to take my order, which was nice. I went for the chicken soup (after seeing a few reviews about it) and the ginger and lemon tea. The soup came out faster than the tea. It was alright, but I needed a fair bit of the spicy sauce to give it more flavor. I think it would be perfect with some onions and maybe a bit more spice. The tea, on the other hand, was amazing—super fresh with a great kick of ginger, and I had enough for four full glasses. When I wanted to pay, it took a while for the staff to come out. I asked to pay by card, but they preferred cash, so I went with that. Overall, good value for money, and I’ll be coming back to try more! ”
“ Amazing breakfast and lunch spot! Huge portions with good flavour and variety, would definitely recommend ”
“ Can’t rate this highly enough. The coffee is really good. I also ordered a tea and you get a large pot that fills 2/3 cups. We came here twice to eat and were not disappointed. The portion sizes are large and the food was very good. The hash browns on the breakfast are actually little potato cubes but they were so so tasty, would recommend. ”
“ Get the Huevos Rancheros. Trust Me. This is where I landed every morning in Cusco. Not by accident. Not just because it’s walkable or popular with gringos. Because the coffee is strong, the food hits exactly where it should, and because JC’s Café felt like a tiny corner of calm before diving back into the altitude and the chaos. Yeah, you’ll hear more English than Spanish inside. That is acceptable, this time.... The huevos rancheros here are worth breaking any rule of local-only dining. Two perfectly poached eggs resting on a tortilla blanketed in smoky, rich beans that tasted like they’d been simmering since sunrise. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and pay attention. I couldn’t even finish mine. That’s how much they give you. But it didn’t stop me from coming back the next day. And the one after that. If you’re in Cusco and looking for your breakfast spot, this is it. Get the huevos rancheros. Trust me. ”
“ We were so happy with our discovery of JC's Cafe. The prices are super reasonable and the food was excellent. We have some dietary restrictions that they were able to work around no problem, we had the chicken tortilla and the chicken soup, each were 25 sol or less. Even the tea was excellent, it was a lemon ginger tea with a great ginger kick for only 8 sol for a whole pot and our server even pre warmed the cups. There is free high speed (gigabit) wifi and power outlets at every table for charging your devices. The service was warm and friendly, and even little things like the cups and bowls were beautiful and charming. Such a gem of a find only 4 blocks from the plaza de armas. We will be back for sure. ”
“ JC’s was our favorite cafe & we came back over and over & brought all our friends here on our travels. The food and service was amazing and they ladies working the shop were so comforting and sweet souls! Couldn’t recommend more!!! ”
“ This is my favorite place to eat in Cusco. Amazing food and service, we went here three times and there wasn’t anything we didn’t love. The quesadillas are top notch, some of the best beans I’ve ever had. Literally the best ceasar I’ve ever had and I eat quite a lot of ceasar salad. The milkshakes and burgers are also amazing. Super friendly staff and quick service. Would give it above 5 stars if I could. ”
